Anybody go to the Mile High Music Festival this past weekend? If so, did you see THE SAMPLES play? How'd they sound?

20+ years ago I used to be really into The Samples . . . gotta' give Sean Kelly credit for keepin' on keepin' on though. And to think that DMB used to open for them!

Who are you? lol! Your post is going to blow my cover. I didn't see them lately,BUT... The Samples were kind of like our sister band in Boulder. We did gigs together, we swapped members. I love playing with Jeep on drums, and Wood is a good singer/songwriter. Sean is Fine, but Al is my champion bubbler. Al used to play keys in our band when there were no Samples show going on. Not too many honkies can bubble(hell most don't even know what it means), but Al can. I must admit that I have been away from the clutches of Fayeline/Bill Bass for so long now that I am not even aware of who is still alive and who is exploring the other side. I hope Al is still hanging with us, and all the other members. Goddess knows the downtown train has made stops in Boulder. Can't wait to hear some replies from someone who saw them recently. Health and long life to the Samples! Love you guys- Rizla

long time Colorado resident. hmmm? ok blow your cover. What band? honestly to be honest I probably was too into the old stuff to give the new stuff a chance in those days. I was a pretty big Big Head Todd fan back in the day.
